REVIEW BY JAN & GLEN

Jan and Glen October 2017 Our experience of staying with Sangdup and his family at Lingthem Lyang Homestay was exquisite. The family couldn't have been more helpful. The warmth of their hospitality made us feel very welcome and well cared for. All the logistics ran smoothly. Sangdup takes care of permits to enter Dzongu and can arrange transport. Communication by email and phone was very efficient. The homestay consists of three buildings around a sunny courtyard. One houses the simple, wood-lined bedrooms that are clean and comfortable. Close by are hot showers and Asian and  Western  style toilets, each in a separate cubicle. The third building contains the kitchen, dining area and fire hearth. Unless there are power interruptions, there is electricity available in the room 24/7. The views from the homestay itself are stunning; paddy fields, vegetable gardens, natural forest and mountains, including the mighty Mt. Kanchenjunga. View from walking trail near Lingthem
