Jan and Glen October 2017 Our experience of staying with Sangdup and his family at Lingthem Lyang Homestay was exquisite. The family couldn't have been more helpful. The warmth of their hospitality made us feel very welcome and well cared for. All the logistics ran smoothly. Sangdup takes care of permits to enter Dzongu and can arrange transport. Communication by email and phone was very efficient. The homestay consists of three buildings around a sunny courtyard. One houses the simple, wood-lined bedrooms that are clean and comfortable. Close by are hot showers and Asian and  Western  style toilets, each in a separate cubicle. The third building contains the kitchen, dining area and fire hearth. Unless there are power interruptions, there is electricity available in the room 24/7. SIMPLE AND ORGANIC WAY OF LIVING AT LINGTHEM LYANG HOMESTAY

Paddy sapling field at Lingthem before transplanting seedling need to be raised and it is done in the month of  May Grown up paddy sapling  picking by the relatives and neighbor of Lingthem Lyang Homestay. In our village everybody help each other in their field and its the best time where everybody gather together do work and after finishing the work will have food, drink local liquor(chi) and enjoy the evening with dance and song. With majestic Mt Kunchunjunga at background of  beautiful gold paddy field almost ready for harvesting at Lingthem.
