We enjoyed a lot & miss a long talks in the kitchen after having dinner about family history and heroic of Lepcha History and we exchanged a lot about Lepcha and Singaporeans and  Chinese way of life, way of thinking. A lot of knowledge, stories & good conversations were exchanged and we are really thankful to you. Hope you had a wonderful moments during your stay with us. It is modest, but clean, comfortable, and overlooking the serene range of the Himalayas. Though photographs tell only half of the story, here are a few of the clicks that may give some ideas about how it looks and feels from the rooms at the home stay. This is right when you enter the premises of the homestay. You are greeted by our humility and salutation, while the mountainous surrounding welcomes you too. As you walk up, you notice the wooden exteriors with tender windows opening on the hills smiling and inviting you for an intimate stay. As you step inside your room, you notice the soft cushions, clean bed-spread, all that is needed, available inside the room, warm enough in the effect of wooded ceiling, floor, and window seals. and while you you are enjoying your stay in your room while looking at the green mountains through your windows, you feel like visiting our kitchen, another exquisite struct...

Our guests never fail to undertake this walk to the monastery, and come back with a lifetime experience of peace, serenity and fulfillment. A slow and steady walk unfolds gems of scene, sound, and sweet memories.   My husband and I were the first guests of the newly opened Lingthem Lyang Homestay. We were interested in exploring an off the beaten path destination of North Sikkim and were recommended to check out Dzongu Valley by BB Line Tours in Gangtok. They recommended this homestay and after a long and bumpy journey, we finally made it. We greatly enjoyed our stay with Sangdup and his lovely family. Sangdup is a wealth of information on the Lepcha community, Dzongu Valley, and North Sikkim. Both Sangdup and his family were amazing, going out of their way to make sure we completely enjoyed our stay. During our stay, we enjoyed challenging hikes in the countryside.
